The most watched TV show in the Netherlands, “Wie is de Mol?”, with 3.8 million weekly viewers and a 45.6% market share, was filmed in the Czech Republic.
Fixer Service Prague acted as the local production partner, scouting locations and supporting the filming of 9 episodes across 65 locations over 6 weeks in September and October 2020.
Filming took place in remarkable locations including Hradec Králové, Kuks, Macocha Abyss, Tatra museum in Kopřivnice, Mikulov, Brno, Mariánské Lázně, and the Nevřeň mine.
While strictly observing hygiene regulations and conducting regular testing, the 50-member crew filmed in secrecy throughout most regions of Bohemia and Moravia.
"Wie is de Mol?" tells the story of 10 Dutch celebrities who make an adventurous journey through a country. The journey takes them through cities, along coastlines, through villages, mountains and other sceneries. During this trip, the group works together in various physical, strategic, cultural, active and sensational "assignments" to earn money for the pot. However, there is 1 saboteur in the middle, the mole, who is trying to keep money out of that pot. At the end of each episode, the 10 contestants take a test in which they can fill in who they think who the mole is. The person with the least number of good answers has to go home immediately. Along the journey the group becomes smaller and closer and ultimately, they are left with 3 people; the loser, the winner and the mole.
Big thanks goes to:
